The Software Engineering course offered at University of Miami (with Professor Stephen Murrell) was one of my most enjoyable classes I've taken at the university. Covering more of the philosophical topics which surround the world of programming, the tangible fruit of our semester's work is shown below with the varying links to screen shots of some of our assignments.
We took a brief look into sort optimization and ideal settings for different algorithms. These were two of the sorts we ended up racing in class.
As a continuation from the work we had done in EEN 318, I chose to take the next assignment, (building a GUI Library from scratch in Visual C++) and apply the fruit of my labor towards a controller for the map program itself. The interface is shown to the right.
How about a program that reads another program and estimates how long it took someone to write it?
